I think I may steel this idea for the 944 forums, since they are always pagued with OT discussins and whatnot... lets see if they can hit it off too!

I'd say that picture would more likely help if you decided to run for office. I'd vote for you.

Anybody got some Okolehau to drink?

Default If Porsche Makes A.......?

Hi All,

Just chit-chating with a friend that BMW is hardly the ultimate DRIVING machine anymore as porfits rules all. And we agreed that's indeed the case as Porsche sells the Cayene, and there are rumors of a Porsche sedan. So..... this hypothetical question:

If Porsche makes a MINIVAN, would you buy one? It's not that far-fatched as the Cayene sells like hot cakes. There are lots of Rennlisters with youngens here.

Thanks.

CP

i bet if 10 years ago you asked the same question but substituted SUV for MINIVAN you would not have gotten many YESs, but, if CA roads are any metric, they can't make the peppers fast enough to keep up with demand

I would buy one only if they offered it in RS or ClubSport trim

I would NEVER buy any minivan period, Porsche or otherwise. Sedan, well that's another story. I fully expect to see one in a few years. I think it would be a good move for Porsche.

No. Honda is the Porsche of Minivans. And Randy, I will say that the minivan is the most utilitarian vehicle for families there is. So long as you don't have to drive it, why fight it? The other way to look at it is to say, the minivan, which is the ultimate practical car, offsets the somewhat impractical P-car very well. The yin and the yang of automobiles.

The few articles I've read indicate that the sedan will be a v8 and over 100k.
I don't mind if they push the 911 more towards performance than lux...
