Question Phillie Area. Say Now ?

Pending deal with Don Rosen's "Bill Rawlings" <saleman> on PPI on 95 993 Black and Tan, Tip, with 50k K mlies. PPI is tom. <moving the car to Brandywine Porshe for PPI>Thanks for the Schlag member driving the car for me etc... Lets see what the PPI says. Cautiously optimistic. But... glad that this site works. Let's see what the PPI says. and stay in touch. Opinions welcome.

Thumbs up

Hey no prob, I had fun putting that car to the test. From what I can tell it is a clean car, hope the PPI is clean as well and we hear a positive outcome

Stu,

Good luck with the PPI. Brandywine is a good dealer, probably the best in the Phila. area.

Just one concern though. My suspicious side wonders if these dealers are too comfy with each other to give a truly objective evaluation. I fear that one wouldn't necessarily tank a deal that the other had. Nothing blatant, but maybe just the gray areas.

I don't want to raise any false concerns. Just maybe keep this in mind when interpreting the results of the PPI. And I would just make sure I got the report in writing.

Cool

Great input all around. A sincere thanks to "Schlag" a good rennlister who went over and checked out the car for me. Then he called me twice to make sure I had a clear understanding of the facts. Proof positive that the 993 discussion board is a great tool. Now having said that let's be cool til we see what the PPI says. Regards...

Stu,

Reed's comment is a little prophetic. You should know that Brandywine is owned by the Pennmark Group, which just recently bought Don Rosen Porsche/Audi. Brandywine also wanted to buy Rosen's BMW and Mini stores, but Devon Hill BMW apparently had some right of first refusal for the BMW franchise.

Thanks Rich, the proverbial small world kicks in again. I'm looking into it. Regards.
