"need a third brake light" or supply and demand
After the lengthy process of buying painting and mounting the RS wing and then the Aerokit 1 to decide which I wanted to go. After much lengthy deliberation I made my choice and sold the RS parts.
I also had an issue with the Aerokit 1 as mine does not have a third brake light so I thought I would sell it and buy the 1b which does. I placed the unit on eBay and posted notices on various sites about the pending auction and waited. The best bid I received was for 15% of MSRP which I cannot accept, I guess this is true "supply and demand".
Now my dilettante, how do I install a third brake light without spending the money on an Aerokit 1b.
Your ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
Levino

When I had mine installed the shop said they could take the light from the basket handle and install it in the aerokit 1, but I planned on putting the window version in so I did not do it.
www.performanceproducts.com sells a small light that you could mount in between your bi plane that would not interfere greatly with the spoiler and would probally look good. The wiring would be very easy to access due to the fact that it would be at the end of the spoiler near your brake lights. I wonder how easy it is to do this, I still have the basket handle light and I would consider this if it could be done and look stock. Can you give me the number for the shop you used.
Thanks

The shop is Honea Auto Body in Maplewood MO. The number is 314 644 1266. They do a lot of P-cars and they also did the Tweeks Porsche Boxster a while back. Very good company,Ken did my car for me.
