Default Buying a 993 with Paintwork on rear quarter--corrosion possible...

The previous owner of the car had someone dink up the rear fender [not a major accident], and the fender had to be replaced...there are small bubbles under the paint that I suspect are corrosion...a small line of them is underneath the paint on the drivers' side rear quarter panel. My question is: 1. can this be repaired with some paintwork and 2. is it likely to come back?

Thanks

1. John D did the prep and paint himself I think...yes it can be done

2. Depends on how good of a job is done....

I am thinking the job would cost maybe $1500 to rectify as far as painting the rear fenders go....am I dreaming or is this a decent number to go off of to get a rear-end repaint [top-quality]? I am planning on driving the car for many years to come, so as long as the PPI shows no problems, I should be able to negotiate the price down and pay for the repaint...Everything else is 100% in the car after driving it
