The calipers on my 993 seem to be losing their clear coating. I'm thinking the best plan is to just buy new calipers and sell the old ones on ebay. Anyone know who's got the best deal?

Also, want to refinish the 18" wheels...any vendor recommendations are appreciated.

You might try the new Brembo replacements for the Big reds. If interested let me know....

 

Robert. You may want to just take off the calipers and bring them to your local powerdercoating shop...that is I am doing. Some shops may want you to dismantle the calipers (pistons etc)....but you can buy the rebuild kits from Porsche. They come out like new, in the color of your choice, with $$ saved... and a fun DIY!

Wheel Enhancement has a great reputation for wheel refinishing...(Wheel)..no affiliation. I just dropped mine off locally to see what hey can do with my thrashed cup rims. And in Alaska...there is only one place that does wheels...keep my fingers crossed.
