Try WERKSII in Burbank. They have lots of helmets to try on. As others have said, do not buy one without trying it on first.
Also, I believe motorcycle helmets are not suitable for car use. As I recall, motorcycle helmets are designed for one good smack (usually followed by a long slide) and automobile helmets are designed for multiple smacks as your car rolls into the weeds and your head bounces off of your rollbar time after time.

Anyone heard of G Force? A local 'race' shop sells this line.
EDIT - What does everyone use? Open or Closed face? I'm strictly a DE guy. No competition racing for me...yet.
