Last night while cleaning the engine bay, I noticed some oil on the top of the cam chain housing below the distributors (drivers side of engine). Has anyone ever seen this? Any suggestions on where it might be coming from?
There appears to be a valve type thingy (technical term) being held down by two 9mm bolts that seem to be tight. I think it’s the chain adjuster. Could it be coming from there? If it is, is it an easy fix?

Dizzy R&R to replace this o-ring is not difficult at all, FWIW..
Try to clean the immediate area really well and go for a drive and have a look-see with a flashlight..

Thanks Chris. I'm going to try this. BTW, any advice on removing the distributer? I've seen a couple of mechanics have problems pulling them out.
