Question Racing Lower Valve Covers

I just saw the Racing Lower Valve Covers from Eagle Day for the first time. They look really trick but is there really any benefit to having them??? http://www.eagleday.com/993bilovaco.html
They claim they cure the oil leakage problem and help dissipate engine heat more efficiently. Has any one had any experience with this??

Look very trick and I am sure that they will cure leaks, and being finned will dissipate heat better - but at that price I think I will wait until I actually get an oil leak!!

All the best.

Kristoffer,

Those are quite nice. I've sent you an email regarding them.

Hmmmmm. They've got holes in the center. You know, if I were to twin-plug my engine, they would be PERFECT....

I've seen these on eBay a few times, but the starting price was not much less (if any) then their retail price. I asked my mechanic about these and he told me not to bother, but really didn't say why. Anyone have these and can speak from first hand experience? They do look trick though

Danny, I'd check out the billet lower valve covers from CMW Motorsports. They can build you a 4.0L engine while your at it .

poorb0yw, is CMW even still around? I haven't seen their web page up in ages.
