Thumbs up

That is great, just great! I can hardly wait to get one for my car. 'Course, I can hardly wait to get a car, too . . .

I like the first one, with the text in the exhaust. And, I second the motion to get patches for our driving suits.

Thanks, Princeton!

Mike - Thanks alot. If Morris Day were on the team I would be his assistant and carry around a mirror. How about I just do that anyway so that if anyone forgets who they are I can just hold up a mirror to set them straight. I don't know what you would call that job though! Besides, any fella in a tip probably spends more time lookin' in the mirror anyway so I would not be wasting any time - Lord knows we cant afford that!

I'm trying to get them for next weekend as well.

I'll let you know when they will be available.

I want to do patches, too.

My wish list is stickers, windshield banners, hats, and patches.

Down the road t-shirts, polos and jackets.

Congratulations Gents....great logo. I like the first one w/the tag line in the smoke...may also be easier to place on the car (being thinner).

Any ideas on local embroiderers for the patches? If not, the guy I bought my trailer from does them. He is in Baltimore.

As the founder and titular head (not really, I just like saying titular head) of the Tiptronics Anonymous division of the rennlist 993 board perhaps I could assist new HWFM member and fellow Tip owner JED?

Besides, the stickers just make me chuckle, I want one. Nice job, guys.

No, that line was developed through personal experience during my amateur racing career.

We don't have any titular heads in HWFM racing. That title is yours if you want it.

Where in Chicago are you?

Are you going to RA next weekend?

Mike, to answer your questions I am in the near north 'burbs. But, I have a truly nasty bone and joint disease, kind of like Superman-strength arthritis, so my track days are over (probably to the immense relief of instructors and corner workers everywhere!).

I am very grateful and happy to be able to still drive my Tip 993, however, and as Glen can attest, immensely enjoy the shotgun seat in a well-prepared car. I am also perfecting my bench racing technique.

Although I will not be around for RA next weekend, I do enjoy watching other folks at the track, and I also exchanged emails with Eric about joining a local 993 get-together, so I'm sure we'll meet sometime soon. Have fun at RA!

Princeton and Mike,

Fantastic!!! The logos are perfect. I particularly love the 911 shape of the turtle.

I'd also love to help with the sticker and embroidery costs, and would love to put a LARGE version on the side of my future trailer. Now, that would certainly intimidate my fellow racers.

Looks good guys. Although I briefly owned 2 993s (a C4 and a TT) at once, I now only own one. So I guess I do not qualify. I would be afraid that someone might interpret the Turtle as a way to downplay how fast I am - when in actuality I am the turtle (although that turtle looks a bit too quick to be me).

Looks great.

How about a windshield sticker that covers the entire windshield? That certainly would scare a few folks on the track...Hey Wait for Me...I can't see...

Good one, David

Glen and Anir
Thanks for the offer. I learn sticker cost tomorrow. Also hope to find time to talk to an embroiderer about patches and hats. I think I know a source for windshield banners as well.

We'll figure out cost.

Anir
I'm having a few made up for my trailer. I figure four or five feet. I'll let you know about that as well.

Bill

anyone who's slow in a TT is a natural for the team. Welcome.

FirstMate/Registrar Danny

I hope you're getting all these...
