I'm using Auto Enginuity's ScanTool OBD II connector and software on my lap top. Moe then just code scanning. www.autoenginuity.com

Back from the dead post....
I just used the latest version of Vag-Com, for VWs as mentioned in this thread. It has a generic OBD-2 code reading page.
for Readiness codes this was my cars' results

Evaporative system monitoring: Passed
Secondary air system monitoring: Passed
A/C system refrigerant monitoring: Not installed.
Oxygen sensor monitoring: Passed
Oxygen sensor heater monitoring: Passed
Exhaust Gas Recirculation: Not installed.
I count 8 items that passed, this is the 8 readiness codes that are needed for smog to pass in CA? ( min of 3) that get turned on during the drive cycle?
I can also read 20 different parameters in real time- engine RPM, "coolant" temp, mass airflow, intake temp, vehicle speed, 02 sensor voltages ( all 4) and graph them in real time.
Also here is a Porsche version of the Vag Com product. anyone have this?
