Hey all, sorry I haven't posted a map of the run yet as I'm still out of town. I will post one before the end of Friday. The run is still on and we'll meet in Auburn (20mins out of Sac up hwy 80) at 8:30am at the Park and Ride off of Bell Rd (4th exit in Auburn).

Anyone that wants to do a x-post to any of the other forums are welcome (please please). If anyone would like to contact me, send a PM and I'll give you my cell. At this point we have 5 cars, but I hope to see more. Once again, sorry for not providing more detail on the run, but I will do soon and I promise it will be a fun one.

 

I will post this in the 944 forum, we need to "water-down" our group. Im in by the way...so make that 6 cars.

 

I can't make it on the 30th. I will be traveling to SLO via some great backroads in my 993 on my way to the UCDavis - CalPoly football game.

Put me on the distribution list for the next Nor-Cal or BAR runs.

Have a safe and great run. I'll look for the pictures and report. I'll do the same for the roads I have picked out.

 

Dang, I'll be installing my transmission/water pump. Keep me in the loop about the next run. We could always organize one on Hwy 9/Hwy 35 in the South Bay sometime soon.

 

I see Hwy. 58 in my crystal ball, great road this time of year! Hwy. 166 and 41 are po-po heaven.

 

Are you talking about highways 128 and 121? Those are kind of far from campus. If you know some closer ones, let me know! I often find myself with 2 hours between classes and not much to do. Because you know...studying is overrated

 

We're still on and I'm still trying to post a map. Anyone else comin' along?

 

Here's the route map from Grass Valley. It will be about 80 miles from where we start in Auburn to where we end the "fun" part of the trip in Oroville.

We are meeting in Auburn off of Bell road at the park and ride. From Sacramento take hwy 80 to Auburn and take the Bell rd. exit, take a left and cross over the freeway, you'll then see a park and ride to your left. If you want futher detail on getting to Auburn please let me know. Again, the park and ride right off the freeway and very easy to find. From Auburn we'll take a back way to Grass Valley and start where you see Grass Valley on the attached map.

 

Give my repects to James Dean at his memorial just West of the intersection of Hwy's 46 & 41.....

It was from C4S_Fan because I couldn't get it together in time. I think he used MS Map it?

Does everyone that's planning on coming feel confident that they can make it to Bell Rd. in Auburn by 8:30, barring traffic or mechanicals? Mike, are you coming up from Davis? I'm just trying to get a count so I/we know who to expect? So far I've confirmed......
