Post 993 Tire Pressure Recomends

Thoughts regarding optimum tire pressure for a set of Michilin Pilot Sports on a '96 993 C2.

Street driving no track.

205/40-17
255/40-17

Thank you

I've got the same sizes (205/255), same tires, same car - 34F/36R (cold) for both street & track has worked well for me.

It really depends on how you drive....
Why don't you try 36 at the rears and 32 at the fronts and start from there? By the way, if you're going to drive at sustained high speeds this is probably a tad low and you should probably try 2 or 3 PSI higher on both ends.

Wink

I run 36 F&R on my '95; 225/45 & 255/40 X 17. Car feels fine.

(You sure about 205/40 fronts???? N0t 205/50?)

36 F/R gives me better road feel and less squat in cornering
