Anyone added an aftermarket amp to a CDR210?

The title says it all. I'm trying to use a Becker CDR210 with a more powerful aftermarket amplifier. Thought the 993 board might be more helpful as most of these units were in the 993's. TIA

I did this at one point Roy. Be sure you get the Becker pre-amp outputs so the head unit can connect directly to an amp without some other contraptions.

I also replaced the OEM speakers and this made a significant difference in sound quality.

I just switched to an understated looking Nakamichi head unit and an eclipse amp. It sounds a lot better than the Hi-Fi option equipment that was in the car, while still retaining a very "stock" look.
