Sony/Becker Sat Nav Unit
Have just finished a partial install of the unit and have one wire still to attach, that being the wire that picks up the reverse gear feed.
Can anyone tell me where it is and how to get to it?
Also if anybody has fitted a sony/Becker 1 Din sat nav system, where did they find the best place to put the GPS antenna?
Thanks

Found out that I do not need to fit this wire, now have a fully working unit. Fantastic.
Here is a picture off the Sony site. It is a rebadged Becker unit because the holder for the front panel has beck and not Sony on it.
And the link to the Sony site

Don't quit. Hook it up!!!! I left this in an earlier post.
"Well, I finally found an easy source for the reverse signal. I tied into the Backup Light control relay (R51) on the Central Electric Board. The signal can found at pin 87 on the relay/pin 5 on the socket. I lifted the board and tapped into the black/blue wire running from the back side of the socket. I then just ran the wire through one of the existing entry points in the passengers foot well."
You can also tie into the blue/grey wire on the CCU unit right next to the radio. (Courtesy John Felker.)
