I bought a low-mileage C2S 3 years ago, drove it some 10'km a year for 3 years, and sold it earlier this year (don't worry, to buy a different 993..). I had a few minor mods done in that period, but outside of that just the usual maintenance and insurance costs. Luckily, no accidents either. I made about €1,000 on the sale, and probably realistically lost a total of €2,000 if I take all the other costs into account.

That is what I call a sound, and in addtion enjoyable investment! And remember what financial markets did in that period.. I don't know which other car would match that in terms of value on the one hand, and daily driveability (incl. winter) on the other.

Only sell to buy another!

You definitly need to sell it to me as I will use it on a regular basis! Now, just tell me how much $$$ and what color it is. I am just finishing the third car addition so it will have a nice heated/air conditioned home that you can visit anytime..........except on DE weekends!

Thanks for the offer SteveL1, I'll let ya know which way I go!
I do like Ray's idea. I had an S6 a awhile ago and that was the "ultimate wagon" IMOHO . The S4 would be a great compromise.
I really appreciate everyone's ideas and I will be sure to let you guys know what happens...if anything.
Thank you again!

I agree with Ray and Tom, though slightly modified. Sell the other cars and get an S6. SUVs with their high center of gravity are not as safe as most believe. S6's are 4wd HP monsters that can haul Home Depot goodies with ease.

If you are asking this forum whether or not to sell your 993 C2S, then it is because you don't want to, and want to hear others tell you not too... Do you seriously think this 993 board would suggest you sell your C2S??

Tell me a little more about the M5. My accountant has been talking about moving his ML55 for one and may be interested. You can e-mail details to em at slafara@nies.com if you like.
