Wide body nose on a narrow body - works well
Hi Everyone,
I finally got my car back with its new nose and it looks excellent. According to my bodyshop it was a really easy swap. I'll post some pictures once I have nice weather (June?!).
Cheers,
David

I just made the same change installing a tt Euro bumper cover on my narrow body. It's a clean swap, but there is a very minor issue. The front fender liners on wide bodied cars are different than on NB cars. As a result, not all the NB liner screw holes align properly with the WB bumper cover. It doesn't cause any problems & is not noticeable to an untrained eye, but to be perfect the fender liners should be replaced. I'm not that ****, so I didn't bother.

Hi Dan,
You are correct about the liners though at $200 odd each I'm quite happy with the brackets that my bodyshop made up!
Cheers,
David

Hi Dan,
A purist probably would not consider this an option...!
Cheers,
David

I bought new fender liners after the conversion to make look it right. On second thought, nobody would have noticed anyway. Lesson learned.

Rich,
I just looked at your web page and all I can say is WOW!!!! I keep my car real clean, spending many hours a week.... My car looks down right dirty and un cared for in comparison. You are certifiable. I'm sure your wife already told you that though.
