Well, I was going to try to post one picture of every Porsche car and driver before starting 'round two', but have decided to fulfill a request from Steve Old Fart.- a front shot of him at 'buttonhook'. Seeing that at his age he could drop at any time, I figured that I had better get the picture up so he can view it while he can.

Now, many of you have heard of and seen his tape jobs before. Here is more photographic evidence.! (He even had a piece over his eyebrows for aerodynamic advantage, but the race marshalls asked him to remove it) They told him he could leave the racer's tape over his pants zipper indefinitely, as he was probably too old to need access to the equipment for sex; and the "All-Day" Depends rendered the zipper obsolete in that regard.

I was wondering why he was taping up his REAR bumper before the first session?? The answer is also in the photograph..... So that his back end doesn't get scuffed up when other cars have to push him around the track. Here he is being nudged through the corner by a stock late '80s V-6 Mustang.

All kidding aside, Old Fart Steve is a VERY nice guy with a great sense of humor! And, he is actually quite fast and very smooth around the track.... making me rethink my stand of revoking the driver's license of people his age.

And Steve, I'm not just being nice to you hoping that you will some day adopt me!! ( although I can send you a resume)

....okay, off to look for a Viper Bob pic and who else am I missing??
(sorry Chris W. that I wasn't there get the Friday only drivers)

Ouch... the price you have to pay to get a photo. Ouch. But worth it. And would you believe I just passed that Mustang on the entrance to the Buttonhook? Frankly... I don't remember.

Does anyone has a picture of the all taped up silver 996 C4S? There was so much tape than from far it looked like an half blue half silver car!

Max, thanks for the great pics! Very appreciated...

Kim (and Mooty) You really missed a great weekend. Are you guys coming to Thunderhill on 11/15?

mmm looks like a good opportunity to drive on 11/14. Spend the day on the 15th, leave the trailer and come back on 11/18... interesting.

BTW did anyone notice that the corner flag crew looked like the Beverly Hillbillies cousins
BEFORE they moved to california!! But in talking with them they seemed knowledgeable and were
saying the same things we were complaining about with those idiots on the track. Did you see them
getting the family truck leaving for the day?

Matter of Fact the Head Flag lady at the Start Finish kinda looked like Grannys Younger sister.
and the starter young lady looked like Ellie Mays cousin!

Don't forget who the original owner of Arnaud's car is, that 993 has some seriously fast genes in her.

Yes... I like to refer to it as "extensive break-in"

That was definitely a fun weekend. Great driving by everyone and I enjoyed meeting all the Rennlisters.

Here a couple laps from my in-car video camera that I've uploaded onto the web. First one is me following Harry Demas in his sweet machine for a lap. Second one is the last lap of the last session of the last day where I snagged my fastest time. Enjoy! (Right-click & save)

Lead-follow with Harry in the 993 (25 MB)
Not exactly the smoothest lap, but it was my fastest (26 MB)

I haven't had time to go through all the video I shot over the weekend, but I find anything of interest I'll post it here.
