I have just got back from a 3000 mile tour of France during which I checked out the options on my 97 C2.

Very interesting except there is one option listed under the lid that I cant find listed anywhere.

It is M233.........

Does anybody know what this is?

The question as regards option 233 was posed a few times here but I am not sure if the ensuing discussion (link below) is referring to the same M233 that you want to know. Recently someone suggested that the code indicated OEM Pirelli tyres. No confirmation but here is the link

I don't think that is it. My car came with factory installed Pirelli tires and option 233 is not listed. AFAIK, tires do not have option numbers.
