Default Side Window Corrosion

I have an an ongoing dispute with Porsche UK regarding corrosion coming from under the rear SIDE window of my car.

I understand there is a 1995 Technical Service Bulletin issued by Porsche which covers the problem and the method of rectication.

Can anyone email me a copy PLEASE?

Jo

It would help if you tell your e-mail (or allow e-mail to be sent via Rennlist)...

Sorry folks - stumbling around a bit on this site - think I've enabled emails now.

Just in case my email is jobrown@lyndalepark.freeserve.co.uk.

(Flying Finn: Thanks for troubling to let me know.)

tossing my hat into the ring, please send along the service bulletin info or post.

I think I may be experiencing the same issue. Passenger side corrosion under window(minor). Looks like little bubbles (rust?) under the black vinyl covrering of the trim strip. I noticed after I washed my car that if I push on the rubber seal around the window water bubbles up out of the seal. Is this similar to what people are seeing?

I seem to have started something here 'for all and sundry' (an English expression) to join in on !

In an attempt to identify those really in need of the bulletin, rather than those that are misunderstanding my previously described symptoms, I will try and identify the problem precisely.

Once I obtain the correct bulletin I will forward details to all others with the same problem.

The corrosion problem is NOT around the area of the front or back windows. The problem IS minor corrosion, in the form of the paint flaking and just starting to show the galvanising under the body paint work coming immediately from UNDER the rear SIDE window, bottom, black trim (not the trim itself, which as a separate problem, also sometimes corrodes).

If you have experienced any form of corrosion in this same position then please post details and then, only to these people, will I send a copy of the bulletin.
