Lightbulb Need Hardware - Try CAT

Many times folks ask where they can get grade 8 or better hardware. I'm sure that there are many sources, but there's a place "down the street from you" that has (or can get in 24 hours) just about any hardware you might want. I use my local CAT dealer for everything including those pesky bolts that secure the seat to the floor.

When I installed "flat D rings" under 3 of the 4 corners under my seat, I went looking for slightly longer seat bolts than stock in order to have the designed thread engagement. I not only found the required bolts, but I got some washers to go under the seat rails for the other 3 of the 6 mounting bolts. This was to assure there wouldn't be any twisting of the seat rails when I installed the rings.

The cost of the hardware is very competitive.

Here is a link to the CAT web site that shows a few pages from their "One Safe Source" catalog listing hardware.

If it'll last on a D11, it will last of a 993. My only affiliation is 30 years of employment.

Very cool, thanks for the idea. I *do* have a Cat dealer about 4 miles away!
