Yep, like Kim said, it's normal. It’s explained in the owners manual. For some reason, the light comes on automatically on startup. Some sort of test is performed at 1 or 2 MPH. I think it checks the sensors that send the position of the spoiler to the computer. If the test passes, the light goes out. Why it doesn’t work in reverse, e.g. light is off unless the test fails, I don’t know, but there it is.

Yeah, I did a similar WTF?? after I bought mine...owners manual says goes off after 4 mph.
