Default Pics from the Concours D' Elegance

Thought you guys may enjoy some pics I took from this past Sunday's Concours D' Elegance hosted by the NY BMWCCA. It was held at the beautiful grounds of Old Westbury Gardens in Long Island, NY.

Will post more pics tonight as these were only ones I was able to upload at home yesterday.

Enjoy!

Some additional pictures....

Two Ferraris driving off into the sunset....

There were a few Z8's there...

Must find dirt in this 8k mile Turbo S.....

The 997S really looks great. I see that you are also partial to the venerable and underrated Dino. Nice pics!

Nice pics and very nice Arena Red Dino. That would match nicely with your c4s! The 997 still does not do much for me in the looks department.

Nice Pics / Event! I was recently at a Concours held at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI and saw the 997 Carrera (silver) and Carrera S (Black with PCCB's). Very nice!

Thanks guys. There were some very nice cars there including an immaculate 8k mile SY Turbo S, a sweet E30 M3 (which regretfully don't have pics of), GT3s a plenty to name a few. Will add some more pics this evening for your viewing pleasure.

Brian...the color of that Dino was amazing and extremely close to "our" Arena Reds. Somehow...i don't think I'll be adding another car to the stable for a while.

Arwin,
I know you won't mind that I enhanced your Photo a bit. The cars were so pretty... well you know.

Which one are you referring to?

Thanks...the PO has always used Zaino, which I have yet to do. I was thinking of using the Rejex, but now that you brought it up...the shine is very nice. Not sure if I should mess with a good thing.

Arrwin,

It was a great event. Too bad we didn't get a chance to meet.

I have to thank you for posting pictures of two of my cars . My black 993 is the 3rd car from the left in the first picture (b/w the silver 996 Cab and the red Carrera 3.2 cab). You even caught my wife's Audi -- the blue one in the picture of the gorgeous Dino.

Arrwin,
You have probably been asked this before, but what wheels do you have? Look very nice...

Todd,

Damn...I was going to post a message here to see if anyone was going to attend, but didn't want to take up bandwidth. It's pretty funny and ironic that I got both your cars in my pics. I believe there was Maranello that was parked in between your wife's Audi and the Dino at one time. It left before I was able to scope it out.

Oh...maybe you saw me...I'm the scrawny one on the left...

I'm thinking of entering in the Fall Concours, but not sure if my car is up to par. I've also signed up for the Novice Day @ Poconos in Oct. Are you attending that? I believe FrankC4S will be there as well. It'll be my very 1st track day. Two of my other friends that were there with me took some pics too, so i'll see if I see any of your cars.

Phil,
Thanks...but I can't take the credit as they were on the car when I purchased it. They do make the car look unique and a bit different. It's a bit of a PITA to clean tho. They are Kinesis K18s. (www.kinesismotorsports.com)

BTW...I added some additional pics.
