just received my clear frt. signal covers, but was bummed to see Perfomance sent me the short ones that do not let me delete the sm. front black bumperettes. don't these come in a longer size or am i thinkin' wrong??? also the elec. plugs did not match up... so i had to use old sockets and tinted the old bulbs... IS THIS WHAT OTHERS IN THE U.S. HAD TO DO AS WELL???
thanks!!!! rich

You can buy the longer ones and delete the front bumperettes but will need to "plug" the gap left by their removal. IMHO, the short ones look fine unless you absolutely do not like the bumperette. I am not sure of the plugs but you would think they should be perfect fit.
Why don't you send them back and get them from AJ USA?

24fps,
You have what all US bumpers require. Unless you plan to do some body work and repainting, you are stuck with the bumperettes(or you can buy a complete Euro bumper). Also, you are correct on the light sockets. You need to retain yours as the Euro ones are single filament sockets, and in the US we use double filament.

well think i'll stick w/ these markers until i decide to pony up the cash for a GT2 bumper. so thanks for the info! also nels, "adscab911" mentioned AJ USA- they've got long & short ones for about $125pr.... while i paid little over $160pr.... shipping was free though, which is part of the discount..... just FYI.
