Default OBC bulb part number?

This question has been asked in two other threads but never answered.

Does anyone know the part number? PET is not helpful in this regard. It's probably either the 964.641.920.00 or 999.631.027.90 as indicated in the diagram.

My OBC bulb just stopped working at the same time as the new stereo was installed. Perhaps the vibrations broke the filament?

Graham I'm not sure about the part number but make sure it is the bulb. Mine died PO said bulb, replaced bulb with one from the clock and nothing. So make sure it isn't the OBC. Most likely a solder joint. Oh yea ,not sure you can replace just the bulb, tried with the airbag light and ended up smashing the bulb accidently.

you can change the bulb - there have been threads about people DIYing it quite easily. But there are no part numbers.

But I take your point about other possibilities. The bulb is just the quickest, easiest, cheapest and most probably correct fix so I'll try that first.
