Post Will these wheels fit ?

I have just seen a set of 1995/6 GT2 road wheels with magnesium centres and am desperate to put them on my 993tt. From what I understand the lowest offset fitment is ET 33 whereas these rear 11" wheels have an offset of ET 18 - my understanding is that this means they stick out a further 15mm. Will they fit with severe rolling of the arches ?? I was going to put standard 993tt size tires on which may help with the width ? Urgent help needed here as I don't want to miss these beauties.

Actually, the rear wheels will stick-out about 34.7 mm compared to the standard 993 Turbo wheels. That is quite substantial and will cause the tire to rub and I doubt that rolling the fenders will do the job.

You may want to consider the wheels from BBS:

These are available for the 993 Turbo as follows:

RY202GP - 8.5" x 18" - ET56
RY209GP - 10" x 18" - ET30
RY212GP - 9.5" x 18" - ET36 (tight fit)
RY213GP - 11" x 18" - ET38
