My newly accquired 993 C4S is due for a service. I was wondering if any one can recommend a good place to have a service. Any horror stories would also be quite useful.

It depends where in London you are... 2 very good ones I know of are JZ Machtech in Hertfordshire (Excellent reputation) and GT One in Surrey (West Byfleet I think)

I live in North West London (Harrow). I called AFN Porsche who charge £650 inc VAT for a service. Thats £200 more thsn JZ Mactech. DO you think the extra £200 is worth it? I bought my car with FPSH.

Also near me is JAZ in Wembley. Do you know if they are any good?

 

You might like to give JM Autos a try, they are not too far from you in Waltham Cross - close to J25 on M25. Web site is JM Autos.

They will be fitting a Bilstein PSS9 kit on my '96 C4 at the end of the month, I'll post some impressions soon after.
