Hello ,
I have a 993 4s -96, with Mnr:X51 Typ F
Leistungssteig carrera 300 ps kit from factory.
Does anyone know how to get hold of the tork and ps charts for this motor configuration ?
Thanks

It appears that you have a factory installed Powerkit option. I thought the option code was X50. I am not sure if X51 was a variation for a different country but 300 PS sounds like the right power output. Your engine code should either be M64.20 or M64.21. A good place to start for engine torque specs is the factory workshop manual. As to PS charts, you may find those in the owner's manual or a technical information books which may be out of print at this time. I'd check with your dealer first.

Seems to me I remember an Excellence article on a special order C4S that had the 3.8 kit and I think, the Turbo S regalia...Anyone else remember that piece. The car was silver with a red interior I think...If anyone knows which month that article was let me know.
Thanks,
Glen

Hi Glen
the article in Ecellence that you saw was a USA converted C4S with 3.8 RS engine that was modified over and above 3.8L powerkit. That car had ported polished flowed headwork and RSR camshafts that eliminated the hydrualic lifters.
If you can locate the 993RS owners manual supplement it graphs the dyno engine curves. If i was more computer literate towards uploading photos and such I would post it for you .
