I would check it for kinks, then make sure it is dry around the fitting. Take it for a test drive then check it again for moisture. If there is something wrong with the line you will know right away. The car will want to pull when braking. I have done a few "big red" upgrades and had to bend the lines by hand. I know what you are feeling.

Also, be sure that the rotor vents are facing back, a lot of people goof-up and do not relies they are directional.

Oh, another trick is to get the line started befor you mount the caliper down. Also, be sure to bleed both halfs of the calaper inside half first.

Note, I dont know your technical level, just some things I wish I knew my first time

Hey Kim,
Are they OEM pads? The factory just uses the dampner discs to the pad. I never remember seeing another shim type dampner? That is with the OEM and Pagid orange.

Kim:

It's about time you got those Big Reds on your car. BTW, those calipers/pads never made any noise on my old Turbo. Enjoy.

Hey Kim:
Would you know if the 17" cup wheel would fit over your "Big Reds" & rotor enhancement? Just a thought for us who need to fit snow tires in the fall.
Additionally, would you know if the stock 993tt rotors and the Porsche Motorsports 993 rotors are the same diameter?

TIA

High,
17" rims will fit over big reds, they do on my car., but it''s a 964....that shouldn't make a difference.

It's a wise man who knows when to be afraid...

I replaced my front rotors today. And even though I used new caliper bolts, and quadruple checked the torque, and the wheel lugs, and pumped the brake pedal before driving, I *still* felt paranoid <img src="graemlins/oops.gif" border="0" alt="[oops]" />
