Good news! Lightweight drain caps on the way -- both of them -- engine and one in thermostat. Will also put magnet in thermostat plug which did not originally have one.

The bottom line is that I have less to worry about in a track situation and I'm just not the greatest at the fast shifting (double clutching, heel toeing, etc.) and the tip does a much better job at it!
I have YET to suffer times at the track or autocross due to my tip

Good news -- the lightweight drain plugs should be on my desk tomorrow morning together with the carbon fiber/titanium brake accumulator; the carbon fiber/titanium struts arrive Monday.
