Good news! Lightweight drain caps on the way -- both of them -- engine and one in thermostat. Will also put magnet in thermostat plug which did not originally have one.

Thank you for pointing out my miss.

That's awesome, but you forgot the CF oil filler cap.

LOL.. I get this kind of grief all the time...

...and then I get complete shock/awe when I do so well at the track..

The bottom line is that I have less to worry about in a track situation and I'm just not the greatest at the fast shifting (double clutching, heel toeing, etc.) and the tip does a much better job at it!

I have YET to suffer times at the track or autocross due to my tip

This car sounds amazing BTW!!!!!!!

This a standard (not high-temp like the silver plated iteration) jet nut aka k-nut. Sorry the picture isnt larger

They are lightweight, relatively soft and used only once in theory, but often a few times before there pitched. They are self locking via a swedge at one end, making them a little oval at the swedged end..

Good news -- the lightweight drain plugs should be on my desk tomorrow morning together with the carbon fiber/titanium brake accumulator; the carbon fiber/titanium struts arrive Monday.

And I wasn't kidding about the carbon fiber/titanium brake accumulator (good for 300 bar).

Yes, it does have a one-off hardtop -- removable with an electric sunroof, heated rear window -- and fully leather lined.
