I'm in need of a central (door) locking system controller.
Part # 928 618 260 03.
I have tried several used part suppliers and the best I have found are earlier versions of that part. My understanding is you can replace an earlier part with the update, but not the other way around.
This is the part that resides under the passenger seat. Mine failed last fall after a manual entry and using the key to enter the immobilizer code.
Hoping not to shed $300.00 for a new one!
Princeton, do you have the immoblizer controller avaiable for sale too ?
The P-dealer couldn't program additional remotes, unless they charge me 4 hours to get to the controller. I follow the instructions in the service manual also, and neither can I get it in to the program mode.
