Default OT: Remember Ruf's "Yellow Bird"?

Yellow Bird

A classic! One heck of a car. Rode in one once. Unbelievable. Remember the famous video "Faszination" of the CTR on the Ring?

Thanks for posting the clips- I just enjoyed watching the first one.

I've gotta say, though- so much for "smooth & gentle inputs". Whoever it is driving is sure having a blast, but he's sawing the wheel something fierce. A couple of laps until the tires are totally shot? :-)

Woohoo what a RIDE.

His name is Stefan Roser, better known as Sideways Stefan. He's good, very good. That lap is just him having a little fun and showing off the car, not meant to be a record-breaking run or anything.

wow......in the second video it's much easier to see that the slides are much longer and more controled that you would have thought from the first video. I didn't know that car came w/ that style steering wheel. I wish the video quality was better as I'd be interested to see more details of the car both inside and out. (I've read about it in Excellence mag. also)

Sometime I do that with my car, but not on purpose

My first memory of the Yellowbird was from the game Test Drive 2 on the Commodore Amiga ... there was a separate disk you could buy to expand the cars available, and the Yellowbird was one of them.
