From the picture, it looks like aerokit II missing the front splitters. Where did they go?

Actually, I think it is an aerokit I.
Here is a picture of aerokit II. Looks a bit different on the side...

Vikin, as you noticed the original owner put on the side skirts and the wing, but not the front splitter. I will be adding that (and doing suspension, wheels (?), and tires) once I get some of my other toys liquidated to free up some cash

Aerokit I and II where only for the narrow body. The difference, as per my post above, is the fact that aerokit II gave you an additional side skirt. Otherwise, I and II are the same in terms of front and rear spoilers.
The red car you are showing, is an aerokit Turbo II which was only available on the widebody cars.

I am well aware that the aerokit II shown above is for the Turbo. All I know is what is in my Tequipment catalog. It offers no aerokit II for the narrow body. Still, like the normal turbo wing, I am sure that the aerokit II wing for the turbo can be applied to the narrow body. Since you mentioned the aerokit II wing, I wanted to show that if looked different to the aerokit I wing.

Viken,
Neither can I.
The official Tequipment catalog here in Europe does not offer any aerokit II for the small body.Maybe this is the source of the misunderstanding. Different offerings for Europe and the U.S.

Yes. Grungy is looking to buy a 993 in the US. He asked about the different aerokits which were offered on these cars. Both Aerokit I and II were installed on the narrow body as an option (Y01 & Y02). These two had the same front and rear spoilers but Aerokit II added a side skirt. The only aerokit on the widebody was the Turbo II (Y75).
In the Tequipment catalogue, Porsche is only offering the Aerokit I for the narrow body and Aerokit Turbo II for the widebody. The Tequipment Aerokit I is the same as the Aerokit II (Y02) otherwise installed at the factory.
The confusion comes from the fact that Porsche is calling the factory installed Aerokit II, Aerokit I in the Tequipment catalogue. I hope this clears things up.

I put a wing on my Guards Red 97 993 that I got from a supplier out in Malibu that supplies a complete line of aftermarket aerokits, etc. He uses a high end shop that put it on for me in a couple of hours after I arrived. It was an easy fit as the wing supplied comes integrated with the rear decklid. They even made sure to install new heavy duty deck lid shocks as the aero lid is naturally heavier than the stock 993 wing. Very happy with the look and the quality.
You can see the installed wing here:
