I need to get some gas out of my tank. I tried to syphon some but no success. Where would a good place be to access the tank or a fuel line without having to jack the car up.

snap on sells a clear tube with a brass fitting on the end with a check ball in it...you can put that end into the tank and shake it up and down and it ends up drawing fuel up into the tube. once you get it past the breakover point at the top it will continue to flow as long as you dont draw air into the line. good luck!

Don't bother trying to syphon/pull fuel downline from the pump; on the top, front, left side of the fuel tank you'll see the fuel gauge, either unscrew it and syphon from there or remove one of the jubilee clips on the right side that connects the expansion tank to the fuel tank.

OG,
Not a hurricane but a tropical storm that was nearly a hurricane.
JasonAndreas,
That looks like a good place to access some gas if I need to. I was able to find a gas station on generator power and was able to buy gas there. So I still making my own electricity.
