OT: Deposit refunding--> Need Illinois law reference
Does anyone know what the law in IL is regarding the refunding of deposits placed when a car is ordered and then not purchased?

did you pay by check or CC. I once put a down payment on a CC and the dealer wrote "none refundable" after I signed it... this also a trick they like to do on the bill of sale... they write "none refundable" after you sign the bill of sale. They know all the tricks... Speak to the Better Business Bureau or your local district attorney.
