OT: Toyota LandCruiser: Good Purchase?

I have owned a landcruiser for 15 years, spanning 3 models. They are bulletproof vehicles. They are heavy, slower than most with the I6 engine and eat break pads. They ahve been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Gas hogs as they are very heavy, not as heavy as a Ford Excursion though. Very nice ride. Needs Bilstrin shocks to really handle better. These should tow well. If I were buying again, I'd take a look at the V-8 version.

I have a good friend that tows his 996 with his stock Landcruncher and we alwyas give him a hard time since it looks like the hitch is going to drag the ground (just kidding Chris).
Really, if he upgraded the shocks, it would be great for towing that car, but I think he is going to get an expedition to do it right.
Since you did not mention towing your car, I would go for it - they are great cars.
