What were standard items & options for 993s?
I'm thinking of looking for a 993 Coupe (probably a non-turbo 96-97) and wanting to find a reference for what was standard and what was optional on each of the variations for the coupe.
Any web sites have this info?
Also, do the S cars have anything additional besides the wide body?
Thanks much.

Rick: I don't have a "complete" answer, but perhaps this is a start: A great resource is Patrick C. Paternie's "Red Book". You can get it for about $10 at Amazon.com (or whatever book/magazine web site you normally use). It provides a general overview of the models and will give information about engines, transmissions, color codes, and a listing of the options.
Most Porsches come with options - so this book will help you figure those out.
To find a listing, type "Porsche option codes" or something similar and you will find a website or two that will list out all the options.
As for the "S" type, the "Red Book" says for the "T" model year, the 4S has the "Turbo look body and chasis with four-wheel drive and normally aspirated engine. Moveable spoiler fitted instead of Turbo rear wing. Turbo brakes and Turbo wheels and tires."
Hope this helps.

Rick,
The S cars had some exclusive options but they were mostly cosmetic items, the rest of the options were the same for S and non-S cars. I have a option list that I printed off of Edmunds when I bought my car. If you want me to I will make a copy of it and bring it with me to M.O.
BTW my silver car has just the right options
sport seats, litronic lights, HiFi.
