I recently purchased new front struts from Gert @ 18 euros each plus 21% vat and shipping which only makes sense if you are ordering other stuff. Need to get around to fitting them soon the info on Robins site is excellent but still looks a bit of a PITA!

Anir, do you have to remove the intercooler to get the shocks on??? Ouch! That would be worth paying the dealer to install (unless it's Bluegrass...). I dreaded installing them, but found it wasn't bad at all. I don't think I even removed anything on the left side. Just the airbox on the right. And I stuffed lots of towels in the engine to catch any errant pieces. It won't apply to you, Anir, but I inquired about using the heavy duty shocks for my Carrera decklid, and was advised against it. I read where some people used just one heavy duty shock on the Carrera decklid. This can be risky due to the possibility of twisting the decklid when shutting it. Worse yet, if someone else tries to shut it and doesn't use the necessary care. FWIW
