Rear spoiler rumble when retracting down

Rear spoiler rumble when retracting down
My rear spoiler 96 carrera, rumbles on its way down I can't figure out whether it's the transmission or the motor. Already replaced the nylon bushings in on the support bolts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My car is having the same noise. It recently just started after I replaced the spoiler wall yesterday.
See posting just a little bit lower. (thread started yesterday)
Haven't had a chance to look at it closer, but hope to get to it this weekend.

When I replaced my spoiler wall I noticed on the left hand side lower corner it fouled / touched as it moved up and down - caused a grinding noise until I filed the offending 2mm or so down to allow clearance.
You need a helper to work the spoiler while you check carefully it isn't rubbing anywhere
