Post Chick car?!?!

Ok, so my wife tells me my daily driver 1994 Toyota 4runner is a chick car! She also thinks her Navigator is a chick car. She also thinks the new Z, the Boxster, the 996 and the new G35 Coupe are all chick cars. Good thing she doesn't think the 964 C2 Cab or the 993 C4S are "chick" cars! Anyone else driving a chick car or have opinions on exactly what a "chick" car is?

No flames intended AND these opinions are COMING FROM A CHICK.

Well, do YOU think those cars are chick cars? I've heard one other person, a guy, say that the 4Runner is a chick car (chick truck?). Didn't stop me from buying it because it had what I needed and was priced right. I don't normally look between my legs before I buy a car, or anything else, for that matter.

Cheers,

Absolutely not! When I bought my 4runner, it was the coolest truck out there (and it still is!). My 4runner has a ski rack, large offroad tires and I feel very comfortable in it.

I personally think women look great driving a large SUV like the Navigator or a sports car like the 993. Women who care what they drive are ALL HOT!

OK - so is a chick car a car that is driven by chicks or one that attracts them?

And if a cars not a chick car - then does that make it a Chuck car??

Oh - its Friday evening over here - have one on me:

cheers!

Hmmm...

In my neighborhood I have a few good examples: There is a mint green Miata that a lady drives... A Silver Mazda MP3 lady driven... And my oldest boys pre-school teacher (also a neighbor) drives a red Viper RT-10.

I think cars that may favor the ladies are PT Cruisers, Mustang V6 convertibles, New Altima or 626, and of course the new Beetle or Jetta or Boxster.

"Lady Moms'" are a whole different story.

Chicks cars? My votes would be a pink Mary Kay car, a teal Mazda RX7, and a yellow or lime green VW Beetle (new version). I'd add a Jaguar XK8 to the list, as my wife has a 1999 and every time I drive in it by myself, especially with the top down, I feel embarrassed , like it's a chick car and I don't belong there! It's not like it's even white, it's blue with the ivory interior, but it still feels ultra feminine to me. At first I loved this car of hers, but now it's just OK. Maybe if it was blk/blk I'd feel different.

All the rest... chick cars? I'm not so sure...

North suburban Chicago: Sebring convertibles, any convertible by VW, 4 out of every 5 XK8 convertibles (don't go there wannabe Freuds), MB SUVs, base model Z-3s and the ultimate two mommy cars -- Volvo wagons and any mini-van.

Go on, call my blue Miata a chick car, I dare ya!

Who's that rectangular fellow that does football commentary and commercials, Howie something?

I read an interview with him once where he explained how irritated he was that men drive sports cars. ANY sports cars. He explained how he gets mad when some guy pops out of a Porsche or Ferrari when he expects a woman to pop out.

He, of course, drives a Hummer with brush guards and doesn't take it off road because it might get scratched and it's expensive.

"I would have to say red 95 993s with sport seats and Boxster wheels..."

Ohhhhh. I see how this is going down...

Well if ANY 993 could be included, then the 996 MUST be in the mix. ESPECIALLY a yellow one, with soft fawn gray Barbara Bush leather, and the Cindy Crawford Park Assist package, or the Susan Summers GPS system...

Hey, I am definitely in touch with my feminine side. Besides I have the masculine black wheels on my Susan Summers ride.

Cool

Oh yeah... The black wheels... Sure, you have them now, but I have a photo of you and I tooling around in that "yellow nanner" from before you put those cool wheels on:
