Not sure which clay bars he used. I supplied the Zaino Bros. stuff and then I'm not sure which wax he used. He used my Craftsman orbital buffer.

Rick your C2 looks awesome! In fact it has me convinced that I don't need to buy a C2S to get the look I want, I just need to keep the car shiny and I'm there!
A possible solution to your adhesive problem. When I debadged my 500E I used little pieces of clay bar to remove the adhesive left over from the badge. If you take little chunks from the clay bar, go slow and use plenty of quick detail spray it should come off. Give it a try, just go slow and gentle so you don't scratch your clearcoat.

Rick, your car looks great... I also tried to replace my "carrera" emblem with a silver "911", but in my case when I removed the old emblem with dental floss some paint came off as well... fortunately a new "carrera" fit perfectly, hiding the defect... FYI, my car is "color to sample", I wonder if that makes a difference in paint type or depth..
