Get it from the dealer. The package comes with the bracket and the bolts for the install.
Cost around 60 bucks if I remember correctly.

Is the addition of this support bracket a DIY? Or, does it require major disassembly?

Check your VIN #. Porsche doesn't approve 18" wheels on cars with a Vin # below 99 7 SS 323614. The Technical bulleten that describes this is TB#9604, released 2/27/96, Titles Support bracket needed for 95 coupes for 18" wheel retrofit.

Parts:993.347.131.02(support bracket)
993 (or 999).218.102.09 (2) Allen bolt M8x60
993 (or 999).218.103.09 (2) Allen bolt M8x80

The addition is definitely a DIY.

Why do you have to put this bracket for 18 inch wheels? I didn't need any bracket when installing 19inch on my e36 M3?

I am pretty sure the use of these wheels is not approved by BMW as much as Porsche did not approve the 18's on early 993's.

I don't think they approve 19inch on e36 M3 but what are the side effects of using 18inch wheels on '95 carrera without the bracket? I have a set of 18inch kinesis supercup on my car and am wondering if I can break something without the bracket. I've had aftermarket wheels on all my previous car and never had to put any bracket.
