Default Can the Immobilizer churp or blink?

Hi everyone,
I have the factory Immobilizer system on my Targa. Is there any way to modify/program the Immobilizer to give the audible churp(s) or blink the lights to let me know I'm locking/unlocking the car?...kind of similar to the most of the alarm systems used on other vehicles. Thanks.

Don't your turn signal lights blink when locking/unlocking? They should. The solenoids' clunk is loud enough for me as an audible confirmation. If you want a beep, contact Robin (p-car.com) to find out if he's still selling his "beep, beep" kit.

It has been a long time but when I first got my 993 in 1997 it did not blink the lights like a friend of mine's. I took it into the dealer they set someting on the computer to make the light blink twice.

One of my 1996's blinks twice and the other doesn't blink at all. Seems kinda weird to me . . .

My 1996 blinks when it wants to. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. I may have something to do with the fact that most times I have the car in the garage unlocked. I then put the key in the ignition and then have to press the button twice to unlock the car to start it--bacause I forgot to do this beforehand. Then it does not blink and MAYBE sets a non blink cycle until I do something different.??????

My lights have never blinked. Does anyone know how to activate this feature? An audible bleep would be great too.

I'd be interested to find out more about Robin's kit but there is nothing that I could see on p-car.com

You don't have to unlock and relock the car to deactivate the immobilizer. After you get in, turn the key to the first position where the lights come on and the fan begins to run. Push the button one time, then start the car. It's easier with the switchblade key than the fob and it's the main reason I prefer the switchblade.
