Default Surflex -- changing from black to other

Has anyone used the ColorPlus prouduct Surflex to change from black to any other color? ColorPlus says no problem. Preparation and application are not difficult.

I'm considering changing a beautiful set of black sport seats to midnight blue. It makes me a little nervous, they're perfect with crests and I don't want to hose them up.

I wouldn't do that. Surflex is good, but I don't know how well it would handle the wear that seats get. I'd be especially leery of putting it on sport seats. Once you do it, there's no going back. All the items I did turned out well, but they aren't high wear/flex items like the seats. I say sell them and buy what you really need.

I saw black changed to cashmere on a Cab. It was done about 5 years ago, it still looks fine and held up like new. The challenge is all in prepartion, either someone takes the time to prep right, or not. Not difficult but time consuming. ColorPlus has excellent reputation around the concours circles.

Where can you get these products and do they work an all interior pieces? My 944 interior has some sun damage and I like to fix it. Thanks.
