'95 993 Cab. top replacement
Will be facing replacing Cab. top on 1995 993 shortly. Would welcome any advice on sources for top itself (dealers or after market) and approximate. total cost incl. labor. Anyone had experience with Walnut Grove Top Shop (in PA)?
Thanks.
Thanks.

One thing to bear in mind, if you buy a factory top and have it installed by a dealer you get a two year/24,000 mile (I'm pretty sure that's the mileage limit) warranty. Of course, if that's the original top on the '95, it may not make any difference to you.

I've heard ~$2,500 for aftermarket (w/German cloth), and ~$4,000 for Porsche original. The total price will be about half labor/half parts. Check out http://www.cabrioworld.com

The last time I talked to them, they droped the price to somewhere $1200 to $1600 for after market. I believe it's much cheaper in Ca or Florida where there's lots of competition. The back window of the oem is heat sealed where the after market one is sewn, you can see the stiches. Fabric should be the same (German) I haven't done mine yet.
