Can someone please tell me the length of the front windshield wiper blades on both the driver side and passenger side...I remembered they are of different lengths but couldn't recall which goes where.
I replaced my blades (called the refill I think) last winter. Here’s the complicated DIY I followed. Robin, feel free to place this in your DIY section
1) Drive to your local Pep Boys
2) Find the wiper section
3) Open the book and look up 95-98 Porsche 911’s
4) The book will list two part numbers
5) Find the two refills on the rack
6) Take them off the rack
7) Walk over to the check out counter
8) Buy them
That’s it! Oh yeah, you’ll have to put them on the car. That’s the easy part.
Sorry if my sarcasm (I feel like Ray! ) has offended anyone. I was surprised to find them listed and available at Pep Boys, but there they were!
Wally-Mart has Porsche listed on the little blade selector. The Luxor refills for $2.68 a pair. They fit perfectly into the front and rear wiper arms - just cut to length.
