I've just aquired a 97 C4S that has yellow guage faces as a factory option (big $$). The instrument background is yellow during the day and black at night. The problem is that during twilight hours the guages are really difficult to read. I'd like to change the background to a color that is more readable but I don't want to destroy the expensive stock faces by gluing or sticking a replacement face on top of the stock face. Has anyone that has used one of the aftermarket guage kits provide some feedback as well as perhaps a recommendation for a vendor (or not!) for such a kit?
