I noticed in earlier posts that many people are unhappy with the reception in their Porsches. I just bought a replacement antenna for my 930 from the Scanner Antenna Specialist at http://crxsi1986.tripod.com/AntennaSpecialist/
This is a "concealed" antenna similar to the Porsche stock antenna and tapes to the inside edge of the windshield. The reception from this antenna is better than that in my 993. This is a good cheap option to repair a broken antenna or get better reception.
I have no affiliation with this company -
