Just make sure he is prepared to hate his car and dump it immediately upon returning home. If he is being honest with himself and prepared to deal with the realitiy of the awsomeness of Porsche and the pain and suffering that comes with wanting but not having the P-Carness, he is welcome, and a tougher man than I am.

He just got the Corvette last year and has been so proud of it. My son's car was stolen recently so I occassionaly have been driving the 993 to work so that my son can use my daily car. When my friend see's my car in the parking lot he calls over to my office and tells me how nice my car is and how it makes his car seem like just another American car. He totally goes on and on about my car, and how plain his car is compared to it. It's kind of embarrassing. We paid about the same for our cars. His is a few years newer, but he realizes that my pcar looks and feels like new, while his is already a "used car. I think he is quite sick that he got the Corvette, knowing now that he could have gotten a 993 for a similar price. I think he is pcar and rennlist material.

I admire his willingness to admit his mistakes and be solution focused rather than dwelling on the past. The world needs more people willing to be accountable for their actions. I am sure we would all enjoy meeting a person with - what sounds like - just the right combination of humility and self-esteem.

allright, take the maybe away from my name, I am nearly 100% sure I can make it. If my car is not ready, tuned etc by then, expect an impreza to show up... (it can keep up nooo problem, but can I?)
those who make fun of the wing (its stock) will enjoy eating their words when they see how well it handles. (It's been to porsche meets before)

Jack, as long as you wait for us. It would be nice to see your car again. The last time was Big Bear.

Although I may be in San Diego that weekend. I'll let you know.
