Help!!!My hood release just broke!
Hi Gentlemen,
My hood release level just broke. How can I open the hood? Oh, yeah and the car won't start. It's spining, but no catch. I 'm bummed out. Anyone have any sugguestions.

As far as the hood latch goes, you need to remove the front drivers fender liner to access the emergency pull. I've never done this, but I've heard its there. As for the starter, I used to cary a golf club in my Falcon to whomp the starter so it would catch until I could afford the $20 for a new starter.

Not starting Update:
Well once inside hood, via ER pull switch(located under fender liner). I discover the DME relay switch was bad. My car turned, but it wasn't catching. I replaced the part and it started. Just something to consider if your car isn't starting.
Now fixing the hood latch???
